Strengthen Your Spirituality with a Solid Foundation
Foundations, is a 5-week class geared to give you a deeper look at the fundamentals we believe and why we believe them. Foundations is open to all guests and new members, who are interested in discovering more about First Christian and want to discover what steps to take next. 

Taught by our Senior Minister, Craig Grammer, and Bruce Ludlow, this insightful class will be offered for three sessions during 2010 (refer to the schedule in the left column).    

The five weeks we spend together will center around who we are and what we believe. Here are the five week topics of study:

Week 1: Welcome to First Christian Church 
In our first class, we will discuss our mission, strategy, what we believe, growth opportunities and children and youth ministries. We will close our session by taking a brief tour of the facility.

Week 2:  9 Fundamentals of an Evangelical Church
You can’t tell by a church sign what a church believes. In this class we will discover the nine fundamentals of a God-honoring church. 

Week 3:  9 Essentials of an Evangelical Church

Week 4:  Baptism
During this class, we will spend time discussing what we believe about baptism; why we baptize by immersion, why we do not baptize infants and why we take communion every Sunday.

Week 5:  Communion
During this class, we will spend time discussing why we take communion every Sunday.
