I get to minister to and teach the greatest congregation in the world.

Ministry/Professional background
I worked for 28 years at Cooper Airetool, retired from there and for the last six years I have been on staff at FCC. I have been either a deacon or elder at FCC for about 24 years.

Who led you to Christ
My brother-in-law, David Smith, challenged my wife and I to prove him wrong on the New Testament church and baptism and we found out he was right.

Family
Wife Jan, sons Eric, Sean and Joel. Grandchildren Caleb, Noah, Erin, Nash, Broc, Helen, Sara and Samuel.

Favorite sport, sport team or boardgame
Baseball - Cincinnati Reds; Football - Cleveland Browns. I love watching high school cross-country running.

Tell us something about you we never would have guessed
I umpired high school baseball for 25 years and I am an amatuer radio operator (KA8JFW).
