What you like best about working at FCC
I love the warmth from everyone here. I like the laughter, hugs, appreciation, and the common bond that we all share.

Ministry/Professional background
I have worked with Mary Lou and her committee with some of the Women’s Ministry events here at FCC. I also have enjoyed working with Shane with our youth. I have been working in that area for more than 10 years now. I love the kids.

Who led you to Christ
I can’t pinpoint that to one person. I have had many wonderful people that have planted seeds and helped me grow and see that I needed Christ as my savior.

Favorite Bible verse
1 John 3:1-3 We are God’s children!

Favorite book
I love to read!! It takes you away. I’d much rather read than to watch TV. It’s hard to say what my favorite book is. I like to read Francis Rivers, Nicholas Sparks, and other Christian Romance authors. I also was introduced to a lot of different books, during the year long study with the Woman of Influence Group. There were some interesting reads with that.

Favorite music, song or artist
All kinds really. I love listening to Air1 for contemporary Christian music. I love to sing a long with the radio and I enjoy a good beat. I love music! A song can take you to a special moment or move you to tears, or it can lift your spirit and make you dance. Music is a true blessing from God.

Family
I have been blessed with a wonderful, hard working husband, who is an avid bike rider and wants to be in an Iron Man, his name is John. We have two children, Kayla, who is 14. She is into music, singing with the band at church, tennis and leadership. Alex is 12 and he loves to play football, basketball and baseball. He is a straight “A” student and enjoys school.

Favorite sport, sport team or boardgame
I like to be outside. I enjoy hiking, biking, playing with the kids, and I like to dance. I love to watch my family engaging in their sport. I also love to go boating and water skiing with my family.

Tell us something about you we never would have guessed
I was born really early, probably due to my mom riding a rollercoaster when she was pregnant with me. My weight was only 3 pounds, and I didn’t have a name for a whole week. Poor me! Also, I finished a Marathon in Columbus in 2005. It was a great sense of accomplishment!
