Seasons, t he Women’s Ministry of First Christian Church
is here to help you gracefully walk through every stage of your life.
Seasons Ministries are designed to educate women about the mission program of our church. Ladies meet once a month to hear a report on one of our missionaries and to learn how we can better support them. The ministries also visit and encourage our shut-ins, and correspond with college kids, those in the military, and those in prison. We also have a support group for new widows. This ministry is a time to meet new ladies and become a part of a group of caring women that love the Lord. Our Mission
To provide opportunities for fellowship, spiritual growth, enrichment, education, missionary involvement, and creative ministries; thus enabling the women of First Christian Church to develop a sense of personal commitment for the whole mission of the church of Christ. Bible Studies
Ps. 119:130 “The unfolding of Thy Word gives light.” We want every woman to have an opportunity to meet with other women to study God’s Word. We have two different scheduled days (Mondays and Tuesday evenings) when there is an organized study. Mom’s Day Out
This program is designed for Moms with pre-school age children. This is a time when Moms can get together for Bible study, fellowship, and learning new things for her home and family. Free childcare is provided for pre-school children. Mom’s Day Out meets at the church three Fridays a month during the fall/winter/spring months.
