Worship Ministry 
Why Were You Created? Have you ever asked yourself that question? The Bible tells us that we were created to worship God. Throughout history, God has called all people to Himself so that they might live their lives as worship to Him.

Worship is a Lifestyle
As a community of believers, we at First Christian strive for a lifestyle of worship. What that means is, a life of faith and obedience to God. Paul told us that we should offer our lives everyday as a gift to God, living in accordance with His way for our lives. There are many physical things that entice us to "worship" them, yet God desires that our love and devotion be given to Him. This is why the angel told John during his revelation from God, "Worship Him [God]". Not even an angel of God is deserving of our worship.  God the Father and Jesus Christ His Son alone deserve our worship.

God delights in our worship of Him. An important part of that lifestyle of worship is our shared times of worship each Sunday. As Jesus told the woman at the well, God desires those who worship Him in spirit and in truth. As worship becomes part of our everyday life, corporate worship is the natural result of a faith-filled community. It is our prayer that First Christian be that kind of fellowship.
